Baby it's cold outside

The record-breaking rains have grown monotonous, so we've mixed it up a bit. We're now taking our precipitation in the solid form. In a town where most residents can rattle off the few "snow years" faster than the digits in their own phone numbers, a flurry of the white stuff this early in the season is big news indeed.

But, as any good Seattleite knows, it won't last. With that in mind, The Kid was treated to an extra late bedtime tonight so that we could cram into one evening an entire season's worth of sledding, snowmen, snowangels, and snowball fights. Few things are more important than sleep. Snow in the lowlands just happens to be one of them.
