I recommend

The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. It's certainly not an "Oh my god you have to read this, it'll change your life" kind of book, but it's a good light read. And, as a bonus, it will prove once and for all that it's not such a great idea to tell your wife her daughter was stillborn, when really you just gave her up because she was born with Downs.

You know, just in case any of you were thinking of doing that.
