A Christmas miracle

Imagine you're heading into downtown Seattle. Specifically, the retail core on the last weekend before Christmas. Imagine that all the suburban folk are out en masse, confused by the bright lights and one-way streets. Imagine that all the urban folk, too, are out en masse, honking and yelling at the confused suburban folk. Imagine that several of the pay lots are already boasting "full" in flashing neon. Now imagine that you spot a guy getting into his car. How many cars are between you and the soon to be vacant spot? Only three, and the first is probably already too far passed to be able to take advantage of it. The light changes and cars one and two drive away. Car three hesitates, turns on his blinker... and then DRIVES AWAY!! Now imagine that the spot is right on the corner of 7th & pine. And your ultimate destination is Nordstrom, which just happens to sit on the corner of.... SEVENTH & PINE!!!

I don't think I've ever been so excited in all my life. If I'd had a camera, I would've taken a picture of it and had reprints made to send out with my holiday cards.
